Deployment Scenarios

Nola supports a number of different deployment scenarios suited to different environments. Below is a brief description.

Nola Edge

Video data is forwarded to and processed in Nola's infrastructure (without being stored).

On your network:
- Your IP video cameras.
- Internet connection (for sending video data, requires ~1.5mbps upload per camera feed)
- Nola Edge software running on a Windows computer in your office/venue.
  - This lightweight software temporarily stores and securely forwards your camera feeds to Nola's AI processing infrastructure.
On Nola's network:
- AI processing infrastructure.
  - Our servers receive your video frames, generate anonymised metrics, and immediately discard the video.
- Storage of and access to metrics via https://app.nolahq.com/.

Process your camera feeds at your venue. No video data leaves your network (unless you wish to preview your cameras via https://app.nolahq.com).

On your network:
- Your IP video cameras.
- Internet connection (for sending anonymised metrics only, no speed requirement).
- Nola AI processing device, to be located in an office or cabinet.
  - The device receives video frames from your cameras, generates anonymised metrics, which are then sent on to https://app.nolahq.com for storage.
  - All video processing is done locally and does not leave your network.
On Nola's network:
- Storage and access of anonymised metrics via https://app.nolahq.com/
